Basketball Saturday again. I watched Sam play, and this picture really shows how he plays. You can see the ball behind him, Sam blissfully unaware, because he is chasing the little boy in front of him! Sam has really caught on to the concept of defense, so much so that he almost forgets his offense! On defense, you are to block the player that has the same color wrist band. For Sam, that has been so much fun that he loves to run around chasing 'his guy' almost the whole game!I love that he is so happy to play, and I am so grateful that his coaches encourage team work and having fun. Exactly what my six year old needs in his first season of basket ball!
